Background.

Founded in April 1915, La Caja Seguros is one of the country’s main insurers, with a market share of around 6%.

Challenges.

La Caja Seguros needed to catch up with the new habits of consumers, who prefer to carry out most of their transactions and requests for information through digital platforms, saving time by not having to go to a branch. At the same time, it needed to increase the accessibility of documents related to consumer insurance policies.

 

Business Goals.

Increase consumer satisfaction levels by offering an application that allows them to complete all transactions and procedures related to their policies without having to go to a commercial office.

 

Solution.

The Mobile Hub app was developed from scratch to replace the existing app. From the new application, a policyholder can: consult his/her policies, get current circulation permits, report claims, check the status of procedures and reported claims, make payments and contact operators through chat. For potential customers, it is possible to quote different insurance policies such as home and vehicle, check nearby branches, etc.

    Background.

    Grupo ACE is one of the world’s largest insurance providers, with a presence in the main economies in Latin America and operating in Argentina since the 1990s, offering a series of services related to Life and Protection of Payments, Accidents and Health, Electronic Equipment, among others.

    Since the quality of the service is one of the main pillars of the company, we needed to ensure the correct operation of certain digital channels so that the requests and suggestions of its clients could be processed correctly.

    Challenges.

    The insurer has an application called “High-Frequency Claims”, where it manages the main claims from its clients. As the name implies, these claims, complaints, and suggestions are the most important and frequent and need to be addressed as quickly as possible by the company, thus offering the best possible service to its clients.

    Grupo ACE needed to ensure the quality of the platform so that all complaints and requests from its users could be entered correctly and processed promptly by its customer service team.

     

    Business Goals.

    The company sought to improve its customer service quality by identifying all possible failures in its High Frequency Claims platform, as well as its ability to efficiently process all requests.

    Grupo ACE needed to validate the quality of its application through a Testing & QA strategy, understanding what aspects to optimize in order to increase end user satisfaction.

    Se conformó un equipo de Testing & QA que pudiera trabajar de forma remota con otros equipos tecnológicos pertenecientes a Grupo ACE, los cuales estarían ubicados en distintos países, como la India y Estados Unidos. Este equipo debía integrarse de manera ágil y operar de forma autónoma, garantizando el cumplimiento de los objetivos planteados por la compañía. En las etapas de planificación y preparación se determinaron las metodologías y prácticas a realizar, siendo estas: testing funcional, de integración, de regresión y usabilidad; siendo orientadas bajo los altos estándares de calidad de nuestro equipo de Testing.

     

    Results.

    Once the project was completed, a detailed report was made on all incidents and optimizations, ranging from the usability of the application, its functional and non-functional aspects, allowing Grupo ACE to make all the necessary adjustments and optimizations on its platform.

          Background.

          McAfee is a software company specializing in computer security, its best known product is antivirus.

          Challenges.

          The client was not satisfied with the level of response that it was providing to its clients when faced with new virus threats on the computers protected by its computer virus protection product. The non-processing of information in real time, together with the cost associated with the high volume of storage of this information meant an impediment to find a solution that satisfies the business.

           

          Business Goals.

          Deliver to its customers a better response time to virus threats by collecting and processing information in real time to deliver it to their cyber-security teams as soon as possible.

           

          Solution.

          We created a security cloud solution based on AWS to provide monitoring, detection, response and investigation capabilities to enterprise customers. As part of the monitoring and detection capabilities, the system collects telemetry from endpoints that is used to understand different activities running on user machines. The main goal of the system, known as Data Collection Funnel, is the instrumentation, transfer, translation and storage of the endpoint telemetry in real time.

           

          Results.

          We have achieved both goals, a drastic reduction in storage cost and a great improvement in time response to face virus threats.
